The challenge
Traditional point-of-sale systems are often overloaded with unnecessary complexity. The goal was to design a lightweight solution that keeps essential retail operations fast and intuitive while remaining easy to manage and extend.
The solution
We designed and developed a custom desktop POS application with barcode-based product lookup, cashier authentication, product management and a streamlined checkout interface. The system is supported by a centralized database and structured to allow additional functionality such as receipts, reporting and inventory features to be added in the future.
